Beauty Basics: Types of makeup brushes & their uses

When I had to come up with a video on makeup brushes, I remembered the time when part of my first salary went into buying a travel size set of makeup brushes from MAC for my personal makeup kit. That, to me, was one of the proofs that I was meant to do what I'm doing.

I believe that fingers are no substitute for the kind of finish that a brush could give especially when working with products such as foundation, which has to be even and streak-free. That travel size set I bought had 5 brushes in it, and I was able to do my full face using just those. So let me tell you that you don't need a 24 piece brush set. All you really need are a few of the basics - and the knowledge on how to use them.
